Privacy
The Flipcorder app collects no data. There’s no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server. The app never connects to the internet.
Your videos
Everything you film is stored inside the app on your iPhone. It isn’t uploaded anywhere.
Camera, microphone and Photos
Flipcorder asks for the camera and microphone so it can record, and lets go of them when it’s switched off. It asks to add to your Photos library only when you save a tape there, or turn on “Copy new clips to Photos” in its settings. It never reads your library.
Crashes
There’s no third-party crash reporting in the app. If you’ve chosen to share analytics with Apple, Apple may share crash reports with us, under Apple’s privacy policy.
This website
This website counts visits with Plausible Analytics, so we can see how many people visit, which pages they read and where they came from. Along with the page and the site that linked here, it counts your browser, operating system, device type, and the country, region and city your IP address points to. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It doesn’t keep your IP address, doesn’t use any of this to identify you, and doesn’t follow you to other sites. That’s the website only: the app still collects nothing.
